While walk-ins are welcome during most business hours, scheduling ahead is the best way to make the most of your time with us.
What is more important in a diamond- Colour or Clarity?
The importance of colour versus clarity comes down to personal preference. Menzies likes to deal with diamonds that are of the top white which are D, E, F, G and H colour and clarities ranging from IF to SI2. These high quality standards ensure that every ring you see from Menzies Jewellers will be of the best quality, beauty and brilliance.
How often do I need to rhodium plate?
Depending on the wear to the ring, rhodium plating may be required every 6 to 12 months for rings such as engagement rings and wedding bands that are worn daily. Items such as dress rings, earrings and necklaces that are worn not as often will require rhodium plating less frequently.
Do you accept returns?
If any of our products that you buy fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you have the right to ask for a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law. The remedy you’re entitled to will depend on whether the issue is major or minor.
For minor issues, we will offer a free repair. A major issue is something that cannot be resolved from repairs, in which case we will offer a replacement or refund.
We have the right to refuse to give you a free repair, replacement or refund if:

you misused the product or service in a way that contributed to the problem;
you asked for a service to be done in a certain way against our advice or were unclear about what you wanted;
the problem was completely outside of our control.
Customer supplied materials
Clients are welcome to incorporate their own precious metals, gemstones, and diamonds into the creation of a bespoke jewellery piece. Repurposing existing materials is an elegant way to preserve sentimental value, allowing treasured heirlooms and meaningful pieces to be thoughtfully reimagined into a refined new design. In many cases, utilising your own gold and stones can also provide a significant cost saving, while maintaining the craftsmanship, quality, and individuality of a custom-made piece.
Every care is taken when handling customer-supplied gold, diamonds, and gemstones throughout the design and manufacturing process. However, as these materials have not been sourced through our trusted suppliers, Menzies Jewellers cannot accept responsibility for any accidental damage, loss, or breakage that may occur during production or setting.
